New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grissom for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. New Hope will face a Tigers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Holly Pond falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-6.
