DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), 4-3 in a league match.

The Spartans now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Immaculate Heart Academy for a Big North match on Wednesday, April 10. DePaul Catholic will meet a Blue Eagles squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, West Milford moves to 1-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ) to meet the Indians in a Big North match on Friday, April 12.
