California High School Softball - Pioneer can't get by Santa Teresa
April 20, 2012: San Jose, CA 95123 In Friday's league contest, the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) softball team held off the visiting Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Santa Teresa moves its record to 10-8 on the year. The Saints travel to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA) to play the Pirates in a Mount Hamilton contest on Wednesday, April 25. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 8-10. Piedmont Hills lost 1-0 in their recent league contest against Pioneer (San Jose, CA)
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 21. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Aragon (San Mateo, CA).
