Colorado High School Lacrosse - Grand Junction held off by Summit
March 21, 2018: Grand Junction, CO 81501 Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Grand Junction Tigers (Grand Junction, CO), 8-7 in a league battle.
The Tigers now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vail Mountain for a 4A Western battle on Friday, March 23. Summit will clash with a Gore Rangers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Gore Rangers record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) in a 4A/5A Mountain battle, on Friday, March 23. Grand Junction will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Miners come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO).
