The McKinley Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Tara Trojans to 42 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eleanor McMain for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 26. McKinley will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 71-24 league win over Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-12.

The Trojans (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lutcher (Lutcher, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 4A District 6 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Lutcher ran past Lee (Baton Rouge, LA), 70-63, in a league contest.
