Mississippi High School Basketball - Forrest County Agricultural holds off St. Patrick
January 18, 2019: Brooklyn, MS 39425 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) and the visiting St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS), saw Forrest County Agricultural's basketball squad hold off St. Patrick by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Forrest County Agricultural improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS) to confront the Cougars in a 4A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 22. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Lawrence County lost 54-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS)
Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. St. Patrick will attempt to improve on its 17-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 88-41 league loss to Collins (Collins, MS).
