Arizona High School Basketball - Arcadia overwhelms Poston Butte
January 22, 2019: San Tan Valley, AZ 85243 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ), saw Arcadia's basketball squad wallop Poston Butte by a tally of 76-34.
With the victory, Arcadia improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Titans host Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ) to confront the Padres in a 4A Desert Sky challenge on Thursday, January 24. The Padres come into the challenge with a record of 7-15. Marcos de Niza lost 92-74 in their recent league challenge against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky challenge, on Wednesday, January 23. Poston Butte will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 64-56 league win over Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ).
