October 2, 2009: Phoenix, AZ 85004 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Desert Vista Thunder football squad scored a good 28-16 victory over the St. Mary's Knights.
In their next game, the Thunder clash with the Mesa Jackrabbits (Mesa, AZ) in a 5A Fiesta match, on Friday, October 9. Desert Vista will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 28-7 non-league win over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ).
