New York High School Football - Brentwood topped by Ward Melville
September 17, 2011: Brentwood, NY 11717 The Brentwood Indians football team (Brentwood, NY), was beaten 30-20 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Ward Melville Patriots (East Setauket, NY)
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY). The Colonials come into the Section 11 Division I challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, William Floyd was beaten by Longwood (Middle Island, NY), 14-12, in a league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lindenhurst for a Section 11 Division I challenge on Friday, September 23. Brentwood will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-6 league win over Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
