New Mexico High School Football - Grants beat Bloomfield
September 2, 2011: Grants, NM 87020 The Grants Pirates football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats to 13 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. Grants will play a Panthers squad coming off a 48-7 non-league loss to Montrose (Montrose, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
Coming up next, the Bobcats encounter the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 9. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 54-0 non-league win over Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM).
