October 12, 2013: Denver, CO 80223 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Liberty Common Eagle soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the KIPP Denver Collegiate .
The Eagle (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Campion Academy (Loveland, CO). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Campion Academy was tipped by Aurora West College Prep Academy (Aurora, CO), 2-0, in a non-league match.

Game Summary
KIPP scored in the first 5 minutes. KIPP passed very well and Liberty did not challenge very well. Mason Campbell scored from a corner kick as he bent the ball into the net over the goalie. In the second half, Liberty challenged every pass much better. Arjun Gill scored on a penalty kick in the second half and KIPP was also awarded a penalty kick. The score at the end of regulation was 2-2. Liberty scored in the first minute of overtime with great passing and hustle.
