In Tuesday's league match, the host Pisgah Bears basketball team scored a decisive 73-37 triumph over the East Henderson Eagles.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) in a 3A/2A WNC match, on Friday, January 23. Pisgah will attempt to better on its 17-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 9-6 record after their 62-55 non-league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC).
