In Saturday's league challenge, the host Briggsdale Falcons basketball squad scored a big 66-26 victory over the Weldon Valley Warriors.

With the victory, Briggsdale upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Peetz (Peetz, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A North Central challenge on Friday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the Prairie Mustangs (New Raymer, CO) in a 1A North Central challenge, on Friday, January 9. Weldon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 33-21 league win over Peetz (Peetz, CO).
