After a tough day fielding the ball and allowing 4 unearned runs, the Vikings showed a lot of heart and mounted a tremendous comeback that tied the game at 6 in the top of the 7th inning. But they couldn't overcome 3 more fielding errors in the bottom of the 7th and North Caroline squeaked across the winning run on a dropped fly ball by right fielder. Junior Harding had a solid performance pitching 5 inning, 3hits, 3 bb, and 10 k's. McKenna Dean had 2 hits on the day while Jake Townsend and Nick Horner drove in 2 each.
