January 16, 2010: Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) and the visiting Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), saw Old Orchard Beach's basketball squad knock off Wells by a score of 49-32.
With the victory, Old Orchard Beach improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Seagulls host Gould Academy (Bethel, ME) to clash with the Huskies in a C West test on Wednesday, January 20. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 8-5.
The Warriors now own a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to York for a B West test on Friday, January 22. Wells will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 51-50 league win over Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.
