The Central Mountain Wildcats thwarted the host Williamsport Millionaires football team by a count of 40-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Central Mountain advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host State College (State College, PA) to play the Little Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, September 7. The Little Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-0. State College won 26-7 in their recent non-league battle against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA)

Coming up next, the Millionaires play the Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 7. Williamsport will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Huskies go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 34-24 non-league loss to DuBois (DuBois, PA).
