August 29, 2014: Siler City, NC 27344 The Chatham Central Bears football team (Bear Creek, NC), was ripped 49-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC)
The Jets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Northwood trounced Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kestrel Heights for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Chatham Central will meet a Hawks team coming off a 50-12 non-league loss to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
