Texas High School Volleyball - Kingwood Park edged by Oak Ridge
September 4, 2008: Conroe, TX 77385 The Oak Ridge War Eagles held off the visiting Kingwood Park Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The War Eagles now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Oak Ridge will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Bellville (Bellville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-10.
The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Dekaney was nudged by Pasadena (Pasadena, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.
