The Santana Sultans routed the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros softball squad by a final score of 13-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Sultans (17-7) will now prepare for their battle against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs go into the Grossmont - Valley battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, Monte Vista topped El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 6-2, in a league battle.

The Vaqueros now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Santana for a Grossmont - Valley battle on Friday, May 14. El Capitan will meet a Sultans squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 18-7.
