The Union Pines Vikings basketball team (Cameron, NC), was toppled 64-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC)

The Raiders now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a 4A Southeastern battle on Friday, January 20. Richmond will battle a Patriots team coming off a 68-61 league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-9.
