Arizona High School Basketball - Shadow Mountain nips Central

December 30, 2013: Phoenix, AZ 85012

Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), 58-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shadow Mountain upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Matadors travel to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ) to play the Champions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. The Champions come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Cesar Chavez won 76-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Reynolds (Troutdale, OR)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a I Section IV challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Central will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
