The Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), 49-48 in Friday's league test.

The Indians (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Red Rebels go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Harrison Central got by Petal (Petal, MS), 54-51, in a league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host George County for a 6A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 11. Ocean Springs will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 39-38 league win over Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 4-8.
