California High School Basketball - Silver Valley fells Boron

January 29, 2010: Boron, CA 93516

Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA), 42-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Silver Valley upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA) to play the Knights in a Desert Mountain bout on Tuesday, February 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Desert Christian won 57-18 in their recent league battle against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA)

The Bobcats (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lucerne Valley (Lucerne Valley, CA). The Mustangs come into the Desert Mountain battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Lucerne Valley was toppled by Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA), 70-41, in a league battle.
