Connecticut High School Basketball - Lyman Memorial ripped by Plainfield
December 17, 2010: Central Village, CT 06332 The Plainfield Panthers basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Lyman Memorial Bulldogs to 30 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bernard for a Eastern Connecticut - Small contest on Tuesday, December 21. Plainfield will meet a Saints team coming off a 50-39 league win over Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions enter the Eastern Connecticut - Small contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Wheeler was routed by Tourtellotte Memorial (North Grosvenordale, CT), 83-44, in a league contest.
