California High School Volleyball - Newport Harbor over Notre Dame
November 11, 2008: Newport Beach, CA 92663 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the visiting Notre Dame Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA), saw Newport Harbor's volleyball squad beat Notre Dame by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Newport Harbor upgrades its record to 22-7 on the year. The Sailors travel to Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 13. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Capistrano Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA)
The Knights now own a 8-11 record.
