Kentucky High School Football - Harlan County drops to Knox Central
September 12, 2014: Barbourville, KY 40906 In Friday's non-league game, the Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) football team knocked off the visiting Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY), by a score of 35-8.
The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats come into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Bell County was knocked off by Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY), 17-14, in a league game.
The Black Bears now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson Central for a non-league game on Friday, September 19. Harlan County will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 57-12 non-league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
