January 7, 2011: Granite Bay, CA 95746 In Friday's non-league outing, the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA), by a margin of 72-61.
The Grizzlies (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Newark Memorial topped American (Fremont, CA), 63-34, in a league outing.
The Marauders now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Castro Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 8. Jesuit will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 75-55 league win over San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-1.
