Texas High School Basketball - Channelview prevails Summer Creek
December 10, 2010: Channelview, TX 77530 Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Summer Creek (Houston, TX), 58-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Channelview upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Falcons host Galena Park (Galena Park, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Galena Park won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Worthing (Houston, TX)
Next up, the play the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 bout, on Friday, December 17. Summer Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Wildkats go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 69-57 non-league loss to Magnolia (Magnolia, TX).
