The Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) football overcame the visiting Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA), 35-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 5. Downey will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 13-0 record after their 41-36 non-league win over La Serna (Whittier, CA).
