Pennsylvania High School Football - Riverside drops to Beaver Falls
September 30, 2011: Beaver Falls, PA 15010 In Friday's league game, the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), by a final score of 33-7.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs come into the WPIAL AA Midwestern game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Freedom Area was dropped by Laurel (New Castle, PA), 46-6, in a league game.
The Panthers now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southmoreland for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. Riverside will battle a Scotties team coming off a 48-21 league loss to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 1-4.
