Kentucky High School Basketball - Bullitt East topples Holy Cross
January 29, 2013: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), by a count of 77-63.
The Chargers (20-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fern Creek (Louisville, KY). The Tigers go into the District 24 outing with a 5-18 record. In their last outing, Fern Creek defeated DeSales (Louisville, KY), 51-36, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Holy Cross moves to 11-9 on the year. The Indians travel to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to face the Colonels in a District 35 match on Friday, February 1. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 20-4. Covington Catholic won 72-61 in their recent non-league match against Scott (Covington, KY)
