In Thursday's league match, the host Linden Eagles football squad scored a good 37-14 victory over the Holly Bronchos.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI) in a Flint Metro match, on Friday, September 7. Linden will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 51-13 league loss to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI).

The Bronchos (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Fenton (Fenton, MI). The Tigers enter the Flint Metro match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Fenton ran past Adrian (Adrian, MI), 34-6, in a non-league match.
