January 9, 2015: Topeka, KS 66606 In Friday's non-league outing, the Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Pioneers (Wichita, KS), by a margin of 73-24.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS). The Thunderbirds go into the Centennial outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Shawnee Heights smashed Junction City (Junction City, KS), 66-35, in a league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a Greater Wichita City outing on Tuesday, January 13. West will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 32-30 league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
