New Jersey High School Football - Passaic Valley drops to DePaul
October 23, 2009: Wayne, NJ 07470 In Friday's league game, the DePaul Spartans (Wayne, NJ) football team knocked off the visiting Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ), by a final score of 42-28.
The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Indians come into the North Jersey Tri-County E game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Wayne Valley toppled Kearny (Kearny, NJ), 48-6, in a league game.
The Hornets now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Memorial for a North Jersey Tri-County E game on Saturday, October 31. Passaic Valley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 35-7 league loss to Paramus (Paramus, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
