August 29, 2008: Safford, AZ 85546 The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) football defeated the host Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ), 23-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets face the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Blue Ridge will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ).
