The Greyhounds now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Uniontown for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. Monessen will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 71-67 non-league win over Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-0.
The Vikings (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wilkinsburg (Wilkinsburg, PA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Wilkinsburg edged Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA), 60-57, in a non-league battle.
