Illinois High School Basketball - Mundelein fells Lakes
November 30, 2009: Mundelein, IL 60060 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) and the visiting Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), saw Mundelein's basketball squad overcome Lakes by a score of 79-63.
With the victory, Mundelein improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL) to play the Bears in a North Suburban - Lake challenge on Friday, December 4. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Lake Zurich lost 59-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 2. Lakes will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 4-0 record after their 66-38 non-league win over Northside College Prep (Chicago, IL).
