Fans at Friday's league test between the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA), witnessed Independence's basketball squad crush Evergreen Valley by a margin of 59-36.

The 76ers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders go into the Santa Teresa test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Silver Creek walloped Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA), 87-73, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Willow Glen for a Santa Teresa test on Tuesday, January 13.
