California High School Football - La Canada felled by Arroyo
October 4, 2013: La Canada, CA 91011 In Friday's non-league game, the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) football team were victorious over the host La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA), by a score of 34-10.
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Eagles come into the Mission Valley game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Gabrielino knocked off California City (California City, CA), 28-19, in a non-league game.
The Spartans now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blair for a Rio Hondo game on Friday, October 11. La Canada will meet a Vikings team coming off a 47-8 non-league loss to California Military Institute (Perris, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
