Georgia High School Basketball - Crisp Academy overwhelms Southland Academy
December 28, 2010: Americus, GA 31709 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Crisp Academy Wildcats (Cordele, GA) and the host Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA), saw Crisp Academy's basketball squad trounce Southland Academy by a count of 51-24.
With the victory, Crisp Academy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Sherwood Christian Academy lost 68-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA) in a GISA 3AAA challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Southland Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 39-27 non-league loss to Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA).
