Texas High School Football - Holy Cross beat St. Joseph Academy
October 28, 2005: San Antonio, TX 78228 The Holy Cross Knights football team scored 44 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds to 27 in the Knights league win on Friday.
The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their game against San Antonio Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX). The Buttons enter the TAPPS Division I District 2 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, San Antonio Central Catholic lost by St. Joseph Academy (San Antonio, TX), 41-7, in a league game.
Next up, the Bloodhounds meet the Antonian Prep Apaches (San Antonio, TX) in a TAPPS Division I District 2 game, on Friday, November 4. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Apaches enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 31-6 league win over Marine Military (San Antonio, TX).
