Maryland High School Baseball - McDonogh sneaks past Mount St. Joseph
April 26, 2012: Owings Mills, MD 21117 Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) and the visiting Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), saw McDonogh's baseball squad edge Mount St. Joseph by a count of 4-3.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the St. Paul's Crusaders (Brooklandville, MD) in a MIAA A battle, on Tuesday, May 1. McDonogh will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 8-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Gilman (Baltimore, MD).
The Gaels now possess a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Loyola Blakefield for a MIAA A battle on Friday, April 27. Mount St. Joseph will play a Dons squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Dons record now stands at 10-13.
