The Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL) basketball knocked off the host Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL), 64-50 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Pinckneyville notched a victory over Sesser-Valier (Sesser, IL), 58-37, in a non-league test.

The Foxes now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sesser-Valier for a non-league test on Saturday, January 24.
