In Friday's non-league outing, the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA), by a margin of 58-46.

The Giants (29-2) will now prepare for their outing against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 23-7 record. In their last outing, Oakmont topped Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA), 69-54, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now own a 20-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 9. Pinole Valley will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 24-6.
