September 11, 2010: Denmark, WI 54208 Denmark Vikings (Denmark, WI) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Vikings battle the West De Pere Phantoms (De Pere, WI) in a Bay match, on Thursday, September 16. Denmark will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record.
With the loss, Verona drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Madison Memorial (Madison, WI) to battle the Spartans in a Big Eight match on Tuesday, September 14. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 3-5. Madison Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI)
