The Mill Valley Jaguars (Shawnee, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS), 36-19 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Lansing (Lansing, KS). The Lions go into the Kaw Valley test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Lansing topped Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS), 44-40, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tonganoxie for a Kaw Valley test on Tuesday, February 21. Piper will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 60-55 league loss to Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS). The Chieftains record now stands at 12-6.
