September 11, 2012: Shoreline, WA 98133 The Shorewood Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Garfield Bulldogs to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sultan for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 11. Shorewood will meet a Turks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA). The Turks record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 12. Garfield will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Islanders enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Sammamish (Bellevue, WA).
