Nebraska High School Basketball - Lincoln Northeast prevails Pius X
January 27, 2012: Lincoln, NE 68507 Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), 57-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lincoln Northeast upgrades its record to 4-12 on the season. The Rockets travel to North Platte (North Platte, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-8. North Platte lost 52-33 in their recent non-league bout against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE)
Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Blair Bears (Blair, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Pius X will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 61-49 non-league loss to Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE).
