Illinois High School Basketball - Rich Central prevails Plainfield East
January 23, 2010: Plainfield, IL 60585 Rich Central Olympians (Olympia Fields, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL), 52-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rich Central upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Olympians host Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 26. The go into the bout with a record of 14-7.
Next up, the Bengals play the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - South game, on Friday, January 29. Plainfield East will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 63-33 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL).
