December 28, 2009: Hoover, AL 35242 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) and the visiting Davidson Warriors (Mobile, AL), saw Spain Park's basketball squad knock off Davidson by a score of 62-53.
With the victory, Spain Park improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Mountain Brook won 55-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL)
Next up, the Warriors battle the Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL) in a 6A Area 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 5. Davidson will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 80-59 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL).
